Sports Day 2022

We had a FANTASTIC Sports Day this year on our school field. The weather was perfect and the parent turnout was very much appreciated by all children and staff!

The children were competing in their house teams. They were split into groups of 14 (EYFS - Year 6) and completed an eight station carousel: Snake Slalom, Monkey Mayhem, Hungry Hippos, Ostrich Egg Scramble, Hula-Hippos, Quick Sand Leap, Flamengo Balance, Stepping Stones, Giraffe Lasso & a rest station for when it all got a bit tiring!

Mr. Crawford organised this year’s sports day like a military operation! It ran so smoothly and the kids had a great time competing.

Once the carousel was complete we had our class races. Well done to Dexter for winning the Nursery Race, Arthur for coming first in the Reception Race, Winston for first place in the Year 1 Race, Angus for a superb performance in the Year 2 Race, Franky for coming out on top in the Year 3 Race, Alfie for leading the way in the Year 4 Race, Amelie for a triumphant display in the Year 5 Race and finally, Bella for victory in the Year 6 Race.

The winning House this year went to AIR who narrowly beat FIRE by 2 points!
