KS1 Tropical World Trip

The children in Year 1/2 had So much fun at Tropical World in Leeds. They had been looking forward to this trip for many weeks and it didn’t disappoint!

They visited all parts and saw many, many different animals. They went to The Waterfall House where they saw butterfly pupae and the arrowhead plant which grows enormous leaves 15 feet above the floor.

In the Aquarium they got to see lots of different types of fish from mangroves and swamps to rivers, lakes and the sea.

In The Desert House the children got very excited about the Meerkats…they were too cute!

They also visited The Butterfly House, Creature Cavern, Creature corner and the South America House. All in all they had a fantastic day out.

They even got to eat ice-cream in the beautiful gardens.
