Year 5/6 Leeds Art Gallery Trip

Year 5/6 had an inspirational visit to Leeds Art Gallery on Friday 19th January. A walk in the unexpected snow led us to the station where we took the train to Leeds. Once we were at the Gallery we took part in a workshop, making our own sketchbooks and becoming art detectives. We explored the different collections in the Gallery, sketching and asking questions about the art.

After lunch, each child chose one piece that would be inspiration for their artwork this term. We are looking forward to what the children now create.
