Jorvik Centre - The Vikings (Year 5/6)

During the last half-term, the year 5 and 6 students embarked on an exciting educational journey to the Jorvik Viking Centre. The trip immersed pupils in an authentic Viking world, reconstructed using archaeological finds from beneath the city of York.

Engaging in hands-on activities, pupils stepped into the role of archaeologists, uncovering artefacts and delving into the past. The experience also offered a unique opportunity for pupils to handle weapons and gain insights into Viking battle tactics.
